Buyer Information

Congratulations! You have found your dream home, your offer was accepted, you have closed and have moved into your new house. Life is wonderful.

You have enjoyed your first dinner in your new home and loaded the dishwasher. Later, you decide to have some popcorn, start the built in microwave, and realize you forgot to start the dishwasher. While your popcorn is popping, you press the start button on the dishwasher and blow a breaker. You have just found out you cannot run the microwave and dishwasher at the same time.

As you are doing your laundry, you decide to get a drink of water from the kitchen faucet. When you turn on the faucet, only a trickle of water comes out. You now know you haven't enough water pressure to do anything else that involves water while you are doing laundry.

There is a strong north wind. You walk into the bedroom to see your curtains moving. One problem, the window isn't open.

One day, you kick back in your easy chair and begin looking around to admire your new home. As you look up at the freshly painted ceiling, you notice an old water stain that is beginning to bleed back through the paint. Is this caused by an old roof leak, or one that is still there?

It is starting to get hot and humid outside. You decide to close up the house and turn on the air conditioner. Later, you realize it hasn't really cooled off much in the house. The air conditioner runs, but it does not cool.

Hindsight now kicks in and you remember someone saying something about getting a home inspection before you close. It wasn't a requirement, so you passed on the inspection.
